“You must schedule the pre-natal massages after week 12 to avoid the risk for miscarriage”.
What is a Prenatal Massage?
A Prenatal Massage helps to relieve backache, neck tension, swollen ankles, tired legs, and painful breasts, contributing to your physical and emotional well-being. At the same time the baby will start to respond to the familiar sensations and routines.
Many postural changes occur in pregnancy, in response to the weight gain in the breasts and abdomen causing our body’s center of gravity to tilt forward and others compensatory changes through the lower body, the massage can minimize these muscular imbalances, improving blood flow through muscles, and evoking general feelings of relaxation.
At Barehandspa, our therapists are highly trained, they will customize your massage based on the weeks of your pregnancy, as well as areas of concern.
